Where are the others?

Though Ciba, BASF, and other corporations are on the Web, I have received no other requests for listings here! Can you believe this? People are looking for colorants, and wondering why they aren't on the net! I'd be happy to simply list a paragraph describing your product line, and your customer service phone number. Start by listing your company among those serving the Coloring Industry.

BUT -- you could have a link to your reps, or your complete catalog! We even have the ability to link to live inventory, take orders, whatever you're ready for. If you need help, try these:

Meanwhile, look at the kind of mail I get from your potential customers:

To: "Bill Dawes" <color-info@Xdawesbiz.net>

Thanks for the the company leads.... I wish I knew of some links to dye companies. I've seen WWW pages for some of the companies you've mentioned (Ciba for example comes to mind as something I've checked out a few times), but usually they only have detailed info on their high volume products. This sort of application would be very low volume for the chemicals themselves, but the dyes are expensive since they must be engineered for multiple properties and very pure. A similar situation that comes to mind is that of the laser dye business. Eventually it would be nice for us R&D types to have all the data for a product available on-line so one could check out many possibilities before ever placing a phone call....

I think some of the really high temperature dyes, engineered for application in optical storage and photocopiers, are made in Japan as I have seen references for some companies such as "Nippon Kanko Shikiso Kenkyusho Co." in the books I've been checking. They don't have much of a presence on the Web yet.

Anyhow, I'm sure this will all come -- I guess I'm just impatient.

Thanks again for the suggestions,

Susan Ermer
